No. Klikr uses the Web Push API. Customers grant permission on your subscribe link and are added to your subscriber list. Supported browsers include Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (macOS and iOS 16.4+). See our setup guide for the full flow. On iPhone, direct customers to open your link in Safari rather than an in-app browser such as WhatsApp.
They are removed from your active subscriber list and will not receive further notifications. Your subscriber count updates in real time. They may re-subscribe by visiting your subscribe link again.
Yes. Klikr does not track users for advertising, serve third-party ads, or sell data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. See our POPIA privacy policy for full details.
Beta access is provided at no charge and does not require a payment card. At general availability, plans will be billed in ZAR via PayPal and international card networks. Pricing is published with no additional fees. See pricing for plan limits.
Klikr infrastructure is hosted for reliable delivery under South African network conditions. Notifications are queued on our servers and delivered when recipients reconnect. Your business does not need to be online for messages to send. See our features overview for infrastructure details.
